The Oscar Nomination break-down

So, they’re out. They’ve been out for awhile, so I apologize for being so behind on a review of my thoughts and predictions. I haven’t seen half the ballot yet, so look out for updates as we get closer to the beloved Sunday night. And don’t worry, you don’t have to buy nearly as many movie tickets this year, since only a handful of movies were nominated. (Insert eye roll face).

Okay, so first and foremost, here is a link to the official nominee list. My advice? Print it, post it to the fridge and pair it with a pen to track your progress and notate priorities. I mean, that’s what I do…

Secondly, since I haven’t seen them all yet, I am not quite ready to make my predictions. You can see who won the Golden Globes here, which sometimes is a pretty good indication of who will take home the golden statuette, but you never know, so don’t seal the deal on that yet.

Lastly, I’ll update the links here once I’ve reviewed them. Can’t wait to hear what you all think!

  1. I think it’s hilarious that you’re dreading the kid movies hahaha Paranorman and Brave (very different spin on happily ever after) are actually precious…I wouldn’t be excited about Frankenweenie either…Tim Burton movies weird me out…
